Currently the company is bound to increase its production to cater for new foreign markets. Further to exporting its products to EU countries, the management envisaged exports towards Middle East and North African countries.
Josefa Manufacturing Ltd. has implemented HACCP as a management system in which food safety is adressed through analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product.
The company strictly observes the regulations outlined in the manual `Food Quality and Safety Systems – Food Hygiene and the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System`. All sections in the manual reflect the recommendations and guidelines of the Codex Alimentarius Commision on food hygiene and HACCP worldwide.
